Included within the Base Module, the 3D Viewer provides an economical solution for 3D visualization of 3D models. The viewer provides access to all the data objects present in a GOCAD Suite project.
The Viewer also includes all the import functions available in the Base Module. SEG-Y, Eclipse, LAS files, etc. (over 200 different files can be loaded even prior to any modeling work). The 3D Viewer can be used to share a model among many coworkers without incurring the cost of an additional modeling package. It provides a Windows/Explorer-like interface to browse and display imported objects. It can also be combined with the OpenSpirit plug-in to visualize OpenSpirit objects such as objects residing in GeoFrame®, OpenWorks®, or any OpenSpirit® enabled application.
